Family, Fall, Fun *Hip Kit Club*

Hello everyone!

I'm on the HKC blog today with this fun, fall-inspired layout I created using the October 2015 Hip Kits and one of the October cut files...

I resized the cut file and made the title extra large so it would really dominate my page design.

I added my photos around the title and arranged them so they created a visual triangle. I also added lots of embellishments around the wreath to balance out my overall design.

I love how the colors in this month's kit are so versatile and can be used for any seasonal project. The pops of gold and purple are my favorite!

Our family loves going to the local pumpkin patch each year...what are some fall traditions that you like to scrap?

Thanks for stopping by today!

Fall Is My Favorite *Hip Kit Club*

Hello friends!

I'm sharing this fun, fall-themed layout on the Hip Kit Club Facebook page today!

I created this layout using the October 2015 Hip Kits and one of my favorite photos from last year of my daughter getting ready to carve a pumpkin.

I punched out lots of circles from the Pink Paislee Cedar Lane patterned paper and arranged them around my page. I added other bits and pieces of ephemera from the kits on some of the circles for extra dimension and visual interest.

I added lots of embellishments around my photo and placed my title to the left to help balance out my overall design.

The pop of blue from the glitter Thickers is my favorite!

Be sure and check out my FB post and head over to the blog for even more crafty inspiration today! The December Daily reveal is also up and I know you won't want to miss it!

Project Life Weeks 37 & 38 *Hip Kit Club*

Happy Tuesday, everyone! I'm here today to share my Project Life spread for Weeks 37 & 38 that I created using the October 2015 Hip Kits...

weeks37&38

Week 37

1week37

I started by printing off my photos for each week and placing them on the pockets where I wanted them to go.

2week37

Then I chose the PL cards that I wanted to use from the October 2015 Project Life Kit and placed them on my spread on top of their designated pockets.

4week37

I used embellishments from the October 2015 Hip Kits to dress up my PL cards and photos.

3week37

Week 38

1week38

I kept my two pages cohesive by using the same color scheme and by using the same letter stickers from the October 2015 Main Kit for each individual week/side.

2week38

I also used the same themed elements (such as the Pink Paislee Cedar Lane Puffy Stickers and Ephemera Pack) throughout my spread to keep it cohesive as well.

3week38

I love how well the October Kits coordinate with my photos for these two weeks. They went so well with my photos from early September and really helped my spread feel more "fall-ish".

4week38

What are some of your favorite items from the October 2015 Hip Kits?

Thanks for dropping by this morning! I hope you have a fabulous day!

October Ohdeerme Kit Projects *Freckled Fawn*

Hello everyone!

I have my layouts I created using the new October Ohdeerme Kit ,Woodland, from Freckled Fawn to share with you today...

Cute And A Little Bit Lovely

I had a few photos of my daughter picking apples at a local orchard from last year that I never got around to scrap and this kit was just PERFECT for these fun, fall photos!

Those felt leaf stickers are so fun and colorful that they could be used on any project for any season.

I removed the clip part from the epoxy paper clips so they would adhere on my layout better and be a little less bulky.

Moments Like This Make Life So Sweet

I went with a ton of bright colors for this page and a dark background on the left side so the white foam sentiments were just the embellishment I needed to stand out on my page. I love their dimension and how they can easily be inked or stamped to make them different colors to coordinate with any kind of color scheme.

I backed the red transparency sentiment circle with a piece of white card stock so it would stand out more on my page and I added foam adhesive circles for extra dimension.

And those puffy gold heart stickers work with EVERYTHING!!!!

That's Life

I kept the design of this layout simple and circular. I even cut out my photo to the same size as the transparency circles.

I punched smaller circles out of patterned paper and layered them around my page and added lots of enamel dots and a few black ink splatters, too.

I changed the color of the "life" foam sentiment by coloring it with a black marker to make it really pop off my page and to coordinate with the ink splatters.

Make sure you grab your "Woodland" kit from Freckled Fawn before they're gone. This kit is so versatile and will make any project POP!

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

Play Hard *Hip Kit Club*

Hello friends!

I'm sharing this masculine layout on the Hip Kit Club blog today....

I used the September 2015 kits to create this page about my sons and their new football endeavors.

I layered several of the journaling cards from the September 2015 Project Life Kit across my page horizontally and then embellished vertically down the left side using rub-on, punched, and die cut stars.

I used my vintage typewriter to type my journaling and placed the title for my page on and below the photo of my two football players using the Freckled Fawn wood veneer word and the Amy Tan Thickers that are available here.

I need to create more boy/masculine themed layouts because I really love how this one turned out :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
