All My Heart *Come On Get Crafty*

Hello crafty friends!

I shared this layout over on the Come On Get Crafty blog last week showcasing the Basic Grey Aurora 6x6 Paper Pad...

The photo was taken this past Easter and I absolutely love when I can get our whole clan into one picture!

I sized this layout at 8.5x11 for a little twist and layered lots of patterned paper pieces from the BG 6x6 Paper Pad on top of the background card stock.  I also layered several embellishments from PinkFresh Studio and Elle's Studio around my page to enhance my design.

I typed my journaling onto the 3x4 filler card using my vintage typewriter and stitched a vellum die cut from Elle's Studio directly on top.  I love how the type still shows through the soft pink vellum.

Be sure and stop by the COGC shop and grab some goodies for your next project or creation!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Photobomb's Away! *Hip Kit Club*

Happy Tuesday!

I'm over on the Hip Kit Club blog today sharing this fun layout I created using the April 2015 Hip Kits...

My daughter was playing outside on a really windy day a couple of weeks ago and my boys photobombed our mini-photo session, lol! I used the striped patterned paper from the April kit and splattered bright pops of pink and yellow ink for contrast.

The wood veneer circles were perfect as is, but I painted the Freckled Fawn arrow veneers in bright pink to match the title and ink splatters.

You can see where I pulled the colors from for this layout...

Be sure and join us this weekend in the FB Member Forum on May 1st through the 3rd for our NSD Online Crop! It's going to be a blast with tons of challenges from the whole creative team!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope to see you this weekend for the crop!

Egg Hunt, Just For Fun *Hip Kit Club*

Hello everyone!

I shared this bright and colorful Easter layout over on the Hip Kit Club blog yesterday...

I used the April 2015 Hip Kits for this layout and one of my favorite photos from this past Easter of my two youngest holding their baskets of eggs.

I used watercolors on the "Just For Fun" card from Heidi Swapp available in the April 2015 Color Kit and splattered blue mist on top of the yellow patterned paper background.

You can read more about this layout on the Hip Kit Club blog.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you have a fabulous day!

I was inspired by the colors in my photographs for the colors on this layout...

I was also inspired by the change of season and weather and by the new April Hip Kits!

Project Life Weeks 9 & 10 *Hip Kit Club*

Hello everyone!

I shared my Project Life spread for Weeks 9 & 10 on the Hip Kit Club blog yesterday.

I used the March 2015 Project Life kit for this layout.  I love how well the kit coordinates with my photos and could be used for any project.

Week 9

I love layering die cuts and stickers with wood veneer pieces.  They add a lot of detail and dimension without adding a lot of bulk.

I also like to add stickers directly onto the larger photos in my spreads. Using a photo's white space is a great embellishment opportunity!

Week 10

To keep my page cohesive, I added wood veneer pieces throughout my spread and utilized the same color scheme for both weeks.

I really loved using the transparency on my photo of the snow.  It helped add color and visual interest to an otherwise muted photo.

Be sure and stop by the Hip Kit Club blog for even more inspiration using the March 2015 kits.  Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
